This evening, we welcomed Lydia from the Oxford Hub plus student volunteers Steve and Hannah to our Management Team meeting. Steve, Hannah and another student, Tori, helped with a recent garden tidy and we wanted to know what they made of it all.
The students said that – it was a “very friendly” experience – they loved “just getting down and doing stuff that the lady wanted done” and “it was great to see her happy”. They appreciated being able to plan their work and would like to do some more.
As a token of our appreciation, Ali, our garden guru, awarded certificates to our student pioneers.
